How to use sauna aromas correctly?

There are three basic ways we recommend using sauna aromas – sauna, bath and diffuser or air humidifier.

The aroma that we absorb through the skin and respiratory organs is very important, because in sauna/bath every cell of a person’s body opens and, just like a sponge, absorbs everything in the surrounding air.  When using sauna aromas, it is very important to know how to do them properly, so that they not only smell pleasant, but also provide a therapeutic benefit.

Tips on how to use sauna aromas properly:

In sauna

  • shake the bottle before opening;
  • the contents of the bottle dissolve in 1-1.5 L of warm (not hot) water or pour 3-5 corks in a cup of water;
  • pour a small amount of solution on hot stones as needed;
  • place a water bowl with the aroma dissolved in it on the highest sauna benches (with this water you can also sprinkle the warm walls of the sauna and measure the bath brooms in it).

In bath

  • shake the bottle before opening;
  • pour 5-10 corks of aroma into a warm bath;
  • enjoy an aromatherapy bath.

In diffuser

  • shake the bottle before opening;
  • into the liquid reservoir mix a mixture of 1/2 water and 1/2 aroma;
  • enjoy humidified, scented air.
